In Our Community

Fairfield Watson is proud to continue our efforts to give back and support great local organizations

Western Canada isn’t just our head office address, it’s our home. We are truly fortunate to be able to give back to so many great people and organizations

The Mustard Seed could not be more pleased with our partnership with Fairfield Watson. And indeed, it is a partnership. As leaders in the community, they are a caring company that is engaged with our work. In addition, their professionalism, ethics, customer focused approach and suite of services is second to none. They have my highest recommendation.”

– DEAN KURPJUWEIT
Executive Director Edmonton, The Mustard Seed

I absolutely love working with Mary and Chelsey at Fairfield Watson. They are knowledgeable, responsive, communicative and provide excellent customer service. They helped us navigate a benefits provider change and were right by our side the entire time. They do the legwork, they have the answers and make things incredibly easy. I highly recommend them!”

Fairfield Watson is all about giving back and being a community partner first and a benefits provider second. It’s natural to be skeptical when trying to determine your benefits broker. We have all had past experiences of the first 6 months being great and then the broker fading from view once you have signed on the dotted line. By good connections and some luck, I was introduced to Tony Fairfifield and Darren Radies when I was the CEO at Catholic Family Service. Before meeting them I don’t think I really understood what a ‘good broker’ could do for you!

From the very first meeting when I had coffee with Tony to our ongoing partnership with Darren and Karen, relationship was their number one priority. Our organization was not an ‘account’ – we were valued partners with a mutual vision to provide the best coverage at an appropriate and defensible rate. Everything from transitioning the account, quarterly reports, creative ideas to offer more to our staff and being ‘with’ us navigating the ups and downs during the pandemic speaks volumes about Fairfield Watson.

I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone – they are just good people wanting to do the right thing in partnership with community.”

– PATRICIA JONES
Former CEO, Catholic Family Service and the UP Foundation

At FW a central pillar to our organization is commitment to people which extends to the broader community. These are not just words but rather actions, we roll up our sleeves and get involved.
We are committed to the communities we work in and empower our people to do the same:

  • Each employee is allotted two paid days annually to volunteer at a local charity of their choosing
  • Each employee is allocated $500 annually to donate towards their charity of choice
  • Monthly scheduling of volunteering throughout the organization for various agencies in Calgary
  • Semi – Annual organized “Community Engagement Day” where the entire organization is out in the community supporting a cause of their choice

We are committed to our community in an effort to give back and help as much we can. We truly are COMMITTED TO PEOPLE”
